Dolly hosted SNL in 1989 and had one of the most delightful sketches I've seen while watching the show from the beginning this year. It's the whole cast on the main stage and Dolly tells them stories her mama told her growing up without a TV & the cast realizing the stories are all TV show plots.

New this week: I took a preliminary look at DC's crime trends since the federal intervention. I don't see much change in overall violent crime, potentially a drop in shootings that's hard to tease out from the preexisting trend, and a drop in property crime. jasher.substack.com/p/re-evaluat...
