Tech moves fast. When families stay involved, safety can keep up. Let’s help kids stay curious, confident, and protected online with every Cheezo Check-In.

• Remember AI is a tool, not a buddy. It does not have feelings, judgment, or the ability to handle real life emergencies.
• Explore together. Try AI with your child and chat about what seems useful, what seems weird, and why.
December 4, 2025 at 6:43 PM
• Keep personal details private. No names, addresses, phone numbers, school info, or photos. If you would not put it on a billboard, do not type it into AI.
• If an answer feels scary, confusing, or just plain off, kids should talk to a trusted adult right away.

Family reminders for safer AI use:
• Keep an eye on how your kids are using AI. Encourage good questions and good follow ups. AI can sound very sure of itself and still be wrong. Double check important info.

It can be a great tool for curious kids, as long as they use it with a little common sense and a lot of caution.

Help us keep an eye on the roads, and each other. Stay warm, Jeffco.

• Check on neighbors who might need a hand shoveling or a warm meal, especially older adults or anyone who lives alone.
• Bring pets inside and limit their time in the cold. If you are freezing in a coat, they are freezing in a fur coat.

A few cold weather reminders while the snow keeps falling:
• Slow your speed, leave extra space, and clear all the snow from your windows and lights before you roll.
• Keep blankets, water and a phone charger in your vehicle in case your “quick errand” takes the scenic route.

Pick up the phone and dial 303 322 KIDS.

Tell the person who answers that you want to sponsor a Jeffco child and help make their Christmas a little brighter ✨

Visibility is low, roads are icy, and traction is not your friend today.

Please give yourself extra time, slow way down, leave lots of room between you and the next car, and drive with patience and caution.

Better to arrive a little late than end up parked as part of the winter scenery. #cowx
