Making a job needlessly difficult for an employee to induce them to quit is called a "constructed firing" or something along that line. The fault is totally on the employer in that instance.
This is all speculation on my part but I wouldn't be surprised if this happens.

His recent comments about hoping she'll "see the light" and convert make it seem like he's trying to repel Usha into divorcing him so it looks like he isn't divorcing her, despite the fact that it looks like he's trying to make the marriage difficult for her in order to make that happen.

They woke everyone up across my state with an Amber Alert at 2 AM. I’m pretty sure I didn’t see the child or kidnapper in my sleep, but do go off.

Only leaking one side raises eyebrows for me. To me selectively leaking a conversation means someone likely wants to push something in a way that might not be supported by the broader conversation.

One time Forbes’ web site would demand you turn off ad blocking only to feed you malware. Forbes management deflected responsibility because it wasn’t them as if they didn’t choose the contractor.
