If the DOJ is going to punish its attorneys for being candid with the courts, it stands to reason that courts can no longer assume DOJ attorneys will fulfill their duty of candor.

(iii) That action is clearly unconstitutional and should be an early defeat in the courts.

I take frequent news breaks, no matter who’s in power (or going to be), and invariably under Trump 1.0, and now again in Trump 2.x beta, what I come back to is way more insane than I could even imagine before the break. (That never happens on the other side.)
