Iconic (because I said so) view of our covered walk along Central Ave. in #cityhpil. Despite my attraction to moving flags in static images, I think I like the contrast of the wide shot better.

Several in this series behind the #cityhpil Rec Center had either the "no fishing" sign in the foreground or a fish in the resident egret's beak - but none had both. A task for another day.

I've been meaning to revisit our statue of Gen. Sheridan in #cityhpil during the bare-trees season, in order to get the fort's water tower in the background. I stitched several shots at 85mm f/2 for a narrower focus.
