“I’d much rather see that than…” might have made that sound badly. I shouldn’t have worded it that way. What I meant is that I absolutely love it when someone posts authentically about a trauma they have been through and what they’ve learned. Some of my very favorite posts on SM.

I’d much rather see that than see someone who’s gone dark for years and then comes back and all of a sudden is super into pseudo science or bUsInEsS oPpOrTuNiTiEs.

It’s interesting that everything mentioned that was good about him had nothing to do with the actual company he was running.
Farm boy to CEO is definitely a version of the American dream.But you’d be hard pressed to find anyone willing to call this the American dream after they see the full picture

wanted to know if there are any attempts to explain the force of love in theoretical physics. Like I thought, it’s mostly just speculative or theoretical, but it’s interesting that there are frameworks that could be the basis for explaining something like this if we just knew more. 🤓

The way I look at it is that it seems like most societies that generate a ruling class ultimately face rebellion by the oppressed. The ruling class our society generated just happened to be a corporate ruling class. And a lot of people have finally had enough. Like you said, definitely predictable.
