This reminds me of early days of email & listservs & out of office autoreplies. Someone on a listserv would have auto replies turned on but no limit of once per address. This caused an endless loop of autoreplies to the listserv, received by all. People replied "take me off" & the cycle continued.

Soooo... did a thing yesterday 🇺🇸

I've been eligible to be a citizen for a long time, but never felt the need (I'm a proud Canadian & always will be ❤️). But these are dark times, and every voice/vote/person counts. Who knows what the 🤡 will try next. #NoKings #NoKingsProtest

Joshua's story about living with APOL1-associated diasease inspired Dr. Katalin Susztak to present the connecting bridges from mapping to mechanisms to medicine! 💊 More results at the next #PodocyteConference? 🤩

A bright spot regarding NIH: A colleague whose R01 scored 5% in July 2024, with an expected September 2024 start date, finally received the Notice of Award today, with only a standard administrative budget cut. The wheels really are turning.

Alport syndrome is an inherited disorder characterized by kidney disease, sensorineural hearing loss, and ocular abnormalities. In this review, the authors provide an overview of how genotype-phenotype-mechanisms are key for a precision medicine-based approach in the future. bit.ly/JASN0647
