Grateful for the opportunity to connect virtually with our friends in Cherkasy, Ukraine through the Cities4Cities initiative. As we work to strengthen our sister city relationship, conversations like this remind us of the importance of global solidarity, shared values, & community/community support.

Last night, during our general plan update, we touched on an important topic: missing middle housing. While this concept doesn’t directly include condo and townhouse ownership, it’s crucial for our city to explore ways to incentivize this type of housing.

I was excites to attend this important town hall with @mikethompson.house.gov and Assemblymember Rogers. These are scary and worrisome times for many of us but I'm happy to hear about the readiness of our state to fight back and the plans of our congressional representatives to inact change.

When it comes to fire recovery, it's my opinion that local government's job is to facilitate, not regulate. Be bold & make decisions with the goal of getting residents back in their homes as soon as possible. It worked in Santa Rosa & can work in LA. #palisadesstrong #EatonFire
