But I’m surprised to see Brouilly (not Cote de Brouilly) higher than a number of other Crus, as I think of it as the least interesting of the ten.

The spread here is incredible, given that actual bottles of these wines are quite close in price. I should buy some Chenas. I’m not so surprised by Fleurie over Morgon though I wouldn’t have guessed it.

Wine production is hard. When you plant vines, you have to think about not just what people like to drink now, but also what people will like to drink in 30, 40 or more years from now.

What vintage? Jaboulet went through a rough phase where they made too much wine and quality suffered
