A fan British crime shows and novels (especially cozy crime). A fan of good films. 🏳️‍🌈
My dream film would star #RichardArmitage and #MatthewMacfadyen as lovers in a tragic, epic, period gay romantic drama. Just hearing them speak of love to each other in those rich, captivating voices would be pure auditory and emotional bliss on the big screen.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈❤️
I hope Richard feels more at ease in his own skin—free to express himself without fear of backlash. May he choose roles that speak to him, without worrying about fan expectations or fitting mainstream ideas of masculinity. #RichardArmitage

I love everything about HBO’s #TheGildedAge—the amazing set and costumes, interesting characters, and compelling plot. It wove in important social issues without being preachy. I love the casting (no color-blind casting). It’s a well-made period drama rarely seen nowadays.

I really liked the character styling of Ellis Stagger in Missing You, but I think it would have been more interesting if he had turned out to be a corrupt cop responsible for Kat’s father’s death. #RichardArmitage

Although Richard is amazing in every role he has played, his charisma is off the charts as a villain. He has mastered the art of villainy. While the world is eagerly awaiting for the next James Bond, I’m hoping for him to be selected as the next Bond villain. #RichardArmitage

May the Firth be with you, part 2. I love Colin Firth’s performance as the manipulative playboy Valmont in the 1989 film Valmont. It’s a role vastly different from Mr. Darcy, and Colin was brilliant, truly showcasing his range and versatility as an actor. #colinfirth #Valmont

Happy May 4th! May the Firth be with you! Colin Firth’s version of Mr. Darcy is the most classic and it’s simply amazing! #colinfirth #PrideandPrejudice

If looks could kill, you'd have no chance of surviving Richard's piercing stare. I just love a suave villain. I can completely understand why people like to cast #RichardArmitage in dark roles, because he brings an irresistible charm to villainy. #dontlethimin

Murder at Gulls Nest by Jess Kidd is a crime mystery with a beautifully written style. However, the pacing can feel a bit slow at times, and the ending is somewhat cliché. Nevertheless, the audiobook was still enjoyable . Rating: 6.5/10 #murderatgullsnest

The novel-within-a-novel structure of #MagpieMurders isn’t easy to adapt for TV, but I thought the series did well—though some plot changes didn’t quite work for me. I especially enjoyed Lesley Manville’s performance, which captured the essence of the novel’s heroine.

Mr. #RichardArmitage, I long for your star to shine brightly once again!

I loved the novel-within-a-novel plots! Though the clues in the Atticus Pünd story tied to the author’s murder were a bit of a letdown, I still really enjoyed this mystery. It was well-written, maybe a bit too long and verbose, but definitely worth the time. #MagpieMurders

This third book in the #MarlowMurderClub series is brilliant—just like the first two! I’ve fallen in love with the three amateur sleuths and can’t wait for the second TV series. Nicolette McKenzie is a fantastic narrator who brings the characters to life and makes them more compelling.

I enjoyed the second book even more than the first in the series. The now-flourishing friendship among the three amateur sleuths made the investigation even more fun to follow. I was also intrigued by how the author came up with such a creative murder scheme. #MarlowMurderClub

Does #JackLowden have what it takes to embody the iconic Mr. Darcy? I'm not sure yet. Then again, I had the same doubts about #MatthewMacfadyen—and he completely proved me wrong. So, I’m keeping an open mind and looking forward to seeing Jack’s take on Mr. Darcy. #PrideAndPrejudice

I enjoyed The Marlow Murder Club TV show so much that I had to read the novel—and it’s even better! I love Robert Thorogood’s writing style, the smooth flow of the story, and the dynamic between the three amateur sleuths. #TheMarlowMurderClub #RobertThorogood

I loved #MatthewMacfadyen’s brilliant portrayal of Henry Wilcox in Howards End. His nuanced performance captured Henry’s emotional transformation beautifully, making it easy to sympathize with a man marked by complex character flaws. #HowardsEnd

#DeathAndCroissants by #IanMoore is a charming, humorous, and captivating novel. I enjoyed the story, though I think it would have been even better with a different narrator, perhaps Richard Armitage, instead of the author himself. #cozycrime

This is funny. ChatGPT’s Ghibli-style interpretation made the menacing Dolayhyde look worried and scared 😀 #RichardArmitage #FrancisDolarhyde

I asked ChatGPT to draw a Ghibli-style picture of #RichardArmitage as Mr. Thornton from #NorthAndSouth. Hmm, I'm not so sure… I guess I can see a bit of resemblance in the expression, but it didn’t capture Richard’s signature nose. What do you think?

#MatthewMacfadyen as Tom Quinn and #RichardArmitage as Lucas North in Spooks. It's a shame their characters never crossed paths in the show, but I’m hoping the two actors get a chance to collaborate on a project in the future.

Peter Boland answered my question and shared his ideal cast for the Charity Shop Detective Agency. I hope it gets turned into an onscreen project someday! #theCharityShopDetectiveAgency

Has anyone read The Charity Shop Detective Agency by Peter Boland? It’s witty and funny. The main characters are endearing. It’s just as good as #TheThursdayMurderClub, except the detectives are more amateurish and a bit clumsy, making the story extra interesting
