Idk who needs to hear this, but it’s unlawful either way. If those people on the alleged “drug boats” are civilians, then DJT is authorizing extrajudicial killings with ZERO due process. And if — by their own argument — they’re enemy combatants, then the law of armed conflict still applies: once someone is hors de combat, 'out of the fight,' you are LEGALLY REQUIRED to treat them humanely. There is NO VERSION of this where “kill them all” is lawful; even IF they were drug dealers...EVEN IF THIS IS ARMED CONFLICT, which it is not.
