I'll agree to your point that I'm less socially normal than average. I don't know if that was the homeschooling or if I was always that way.

I'll be a counterexample as someone who was homeschooled for four years, but my reason was probably different than most others: the public schools in Fresno were terrible and couldn't teach me as fast as I was ready to learn. Then I started college at 14 and kept on going.

About 30 years ago, I would check for Atari carts at every thrift store I went to, and found them in maybe 1/3 of them. I don't remember if I ever found something I didn't already have at the time.
