Today’s worldbuilding lesson came from a mundane place: receipts.

Not treasure maps. Not prophecy. Receipts.

Paper is power. Paper is proof. Paper is a weapon.

I used to think “real writers” only posted big, polished thoughts. The early internet taught me something else: a single vivid moment can carry more weight than a manifesto, especially if it’s specific.

Today, I saw that moment in my son trying to stand.
