Why AI will replace consultants…

This slide is part of a presentation on why the rise of AI requires more undersea cables.

This is how ChatGPT is used.

And I could imagine a better UI for each of these use-cases.

Meta (Facebook), by law, has to provide recommendation-algorithm-free feeds.

They do, but in my opinion, they are doing their very best to hide this option.

Tried Starlink on holiday.

It works. It’s a great option when you are somewhere where there is no 5G.

But if you do have 5G, like almost everywhere in the Netherlands, 5G is often the faster and more stable option.

Here you have the title. Don’t tell
me that makes it all super clear now — why the hell are the bars sized this way?

First thing I’m going to ask GPT-5 is to explain this graph from the OpenAI GPT-5 presentation.

Feels like I have seen this graph before…

Wait a minu…

First impressions of the DC1

It’s like your iPad and Kindle had a (big & heavy) baby. If you ever wished your iPad had an epaper screen (or your kindle had the responsiveness of your iPad) this device is for you.

Our platform is delivering real results 🎯

Customers consistently give us a high rating (>8 / 10) 👌

And we have benchmarked our models against the state-of-the-art ✅

So we have decided to scale up. The team has already grown to 45.

First, a business update. It's only been 1y since our Series A.

Since then:

👩🏻‍🔬 We have signed 20+ new customers, incl. some of the largest companies on the planet.

🚀 They are using Cradle to speed up protein engineering by 1.2x-12x.

💰 And see cost reductions of up to 90%
November 26, 2024 at 8:00 AM
💰 I'm proud to announce that we have raised a $73M Series B!

We have now raised a bit more than $100M to make it easier to engineer proteins.

Why Proteins? To replace traditional chemical factories 🏭 and farms 🐄 for a more sustainable future.

Just two months ago I was quoted in the Dutch version of the Financial Times…

“Bsky has had their chance and blew it. There were many people unhappy with X, but because you needed an invite for Bsky, they couldn’t find a new home here.”

A very mediocre video for potentially one of the most disruptive features ever.

I already used Perplexity to find products.. and now it gets 1-click buy + free shipping 🫨

With custom instructions, that are automatically added to every prompt, you can create a very personalized experience.

And if you want to know more about a topic, just ask. It’s a completely hands free experience.

ChatGPT as a personalized audio tour-guide 👌🎧

The ChatGPT app allows you to put on your headphones and have a conversation with GPT-4.

I visited Mont-Saint Michelle today and just told it where I was & asked to explain everything.

Is there any way Bluesky could be censored by a dictator?

I’m assuming the distributed protocol makes this virtually impossible?
