The wind’s a-roaring, tonight, & according to Windy, with gusts of 110km/hr. It was exactly 2 years ago that a similar storm caused a huge pine tree to crush my car (fortunately parked and empty & the tree just brushed a gutter on the house). Oh, man! 😳

A photographer once told me, “Never enter a scene; let the scene form around you”. Perhaps if you sat quietly for a while, an owl might enter your scene, as this one did for me. Good luck!

I guess I’m notso good at clearing out old stuff, but took a stab at it, today. I found a favourite wallet I’ve been missing. There was no cash in it, but I found cards for Future Shop, Sears, HBC, Blockbuster, and Video Difference (for those from Halifax who remember).

The hospice doesn’t just care for their residents, the wonderful people there add so many refreshing details. There are hand-crafted quilts on the beds, and fresh flowers in the rooms. A neighbourhood cat even strolls in & residents keep treats in their rooms for her. 💔☮️💖

So, if this is how good technology is, I’m not ready to trust AI. The first line is a bare approximation of my optometrist’s name. The appointment went well but not nearly as much fun as promised. At least my eyes are no longer dilated and this made the staff laugh. Cheers!
