That’s 100,000 Oklahomans who will no longer have health coverage thanks to Stephanie Bice and Donald Trump. This is why Democrats are fighting for healthcare access & affordability. kfor.com/news/local/o...
“Unfortunately, we believe that out of those 300,000 plus folks [currently insured through ACA], there’s going to be maybe 100,000 people that are going to drop off and no longer have insurance because of those increases." [2/3]
Don’t believe me that Oklahomans are going to be hurt by the Republican healthcare cuts? Then take it from Oklahoma’s Republican Insurance Commissioner... [1/3]
If those cuts are permanent, 51,000 Oklahomans in CD-5 will see the cost of their health coverage soar. Oklahomans deserve someone who will fight for affordable and accessible healthcare, not a privileged, wealthy fraud like Stephanie.
My opponent, who apparently thinks this is a very clever tweet, keeps posting it. Every day. But here’s the dirty truth about this so-called “clean” CR: It locks the Big Beautiful Bill in place and ensures the massive healthcare cuts she supported become permanent. (1/2)
Our first big day of action is underway! Thanks to our great volunteers for giving their time on this beautiful October Saturday canvassing for the campaign. Talking to voters directly is critical to victory! #oklahoma
Today, Karl and I had so much fun at the 30th annual Mesta Festa in the heart of OKC. The weather was great and the company was excellent. One of the best parts of the campaign is spending time meeting people who care so much about the future of their community, their district and their nation!
The team and I had so much fun walking in Tecumseh’s Frontier Day Parade this morning. CD-5 has such a great mix of big cities, small communities and rural towns. It’s important to remember the past and celebrate our progress, together.
Ryan Walters never cared about education. He never cared about the kids. He never cared about the teachers. Everything I said that he would do, he did. He has hurt Oklahoma in a profound way.
So to my old “friend” Ryan: don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
Those seeking to represent the people should be able to engage in civil discourse on tough topics, but many elected officials choose to cower. After the event, the good folks from the Lincoln County Democratic Party invited me to join their picnic! I’m so grateful!
What a great day in Chandler! Thanks so much to everyone who took time out of their day to talk with me about the future of our district, our country and democracy itself. The conversation wasn’t always easy, there were some tough questions, but that’s how it should be! (1/2)
It’s a great day for meeting voters in Chandler! We’re busy going door-to-door and business-to-business inviting folks to our in-person town hall tomorrow afternoon. So much fun!
Take a moment to honor the memory of those we lost but also to recognize the extraordinary courage of first responders and everyday heroes who emerged from the rubble.
As we reflect, let us carry forward the lessons of resilience, empathy, and community in our lives today.
Today, three students were wounded at a Colorado High School. A political activist was killed in Utah. These senseless acts harm us all and corrode our democracy, and it is time for us as a country to take steps to prevent violence.
AI is revolutionizing America’s economy and job markets faster than anyone imagined possible.
We must design guardrails that harness AI to eliminate dangerous work while protecting and growing opportunities for human ingenuity. That’s something I’ll work to enact in Congress.
Truly vile stuff. There’s no enigma here: Trump and Epstein were thick as thieves with “certain things in common” - how can anyone support this monster?
