Do US lotteries donate to charities? In the UK, fundraising is a required part of our national lottery, so I could understand a beneficiary of donations selling tickets (I'd still feel iffy about it, but probably less inclined to flip tables over it if I were still Christian).

My family aren't great at giving gifts because they never showed interest in my interests, but apparently my love for Greggs vegan sausage rolls is strong enough to have been picked up.

So I'm hesitant to reach out in case I come off as pushy. But I also don't like being left in limbo, especially after investing so much time and effort into my application.

I had a similar situation a couple of months ago, and I contacted the organisation to ask if the vacancy was still open - they told me they'd pushed back the interview date, and then two days later told me I wouldn't be moving forward to interview.

I know they received my application, because I got a reply e-mail that seemed written by an actual human. But the advert said they'd be interviewing this week, and I haven't heard anything at all.
