I hadn’t been keeping the pine nuts in the fridge or freezer, but I probably should. The cookies all go in the freezer, though.

I usually do around 15 or so different kinds. Peppermint bark and dark chocolate buttercrunch are staples! I did a ruby chocolate bark last year that was amazing, but I looked at the ruby chocolate prices this year and it will not be a repeat. 😮

I grew up in a pretty rural area, so our closest store was about 20 minutes away. It was a small gas station/ convenience store, and we called it Convenient. Because it was. 😁 I have no idea what the actual name was. “Let’s stop at convenient.”
