Reversing Emotional Repression is the most profound inner work we can do. Those pesky little hidden emotions are sidetracking and sabotaging us in so many little tricky hidden ways!

But all they want is to be acknowledged. Yes, those little gremlins want to be witnessed and seen! Do you blame them?

In my own experience, until we metabolize the grief in our body it will wreak havoc in our lives. It will be running in the background and we will have to use an inordinate amount of reserves unconsciously to keep it down. There is another way.

This is my kitty Kona. He teaches me how to be in the moment and how each moment can be a great opportunity to rest in awareness!

He has no stories that are running through his brain. His mind and body do not seem fragmented. They are aligned, in the here and now. He is my inspiration!

We have to become our own ally in life! If we aren't, that's how we learn to betray and abandon ourselves.

You can't think your way out of this. You can only feel your way through this. Thinking your way out of this is a bypass!!

We need to work with the bodymind to have any real transformation! If we involve our process only with the body, somatics, emotions OR only with the mind, cognition, thinking, we are bypassing any possible integration.

Don't trust me though! Verify it for yourself! See jenfoxley.com for more!

Our fear keeps us from trusting ourselves. It is instilled in us at a young age. That is, to not trust our intuition or our instincts.

However, our intuition is our internal compass, our guidance system. Without it, we are essentially flying without a pilot's license!

Once we are able to feel and express them now as adults, a flow and authenticity in our life manifests!

We are unconsiously attached to our suffering. Notice how we make excuses for it in our own life. It is keeping us safe from our buried emotions. What emotions are you keeping safe from?

Having access to these buried emotions is a powerful experience!

The deeper tools I teach work through the mind-body connection. So starting here is helpful. It is so simple, but powerful.

Your suffering is the way to your inner gold! It takes you to your repressed emotions. Your pain is asking you to acknowledge and process your buried emotions so that you can become the flowing, liberated, authentic person you were meant to be.

Have you tried meditation, talk therapy, psychedelic therapy, yoga, or 12-step programs? These are all great but still bypass emotional repression which is the cause of most of our suffering.

Through somatic processing and repression inquiry, we can reverse sabotaging patterns that began in childhood.

By bringing these repressed emotions on-line, we learn to embody what's true for us and no longer have to strategize and manage our environment to get our needs met. This is exhausting!
