Does freedom taste like this slice of lime in my water glass? The cold ice cube on my tongue? Does it feel like the ache in my legs from walking upstairs, or the pain behind my left eye? I can see the sunrise, and also, the sunset. Does that mean freedom? The orange is too orange. Is all lost?

Never take for granted a partner that randomly brings you flowers from the market. For the first time in my life, I've a wonderfully romantic need for vases. I'm truly grateful.

It feels like a constant barrage of oligarchic ghost hands, reaching from my phone, prying my eyes open clockwork orange style, pounding my brain holes with orange man propaganda. Can't we just turn it off and on again? Where's the power button? Do you know what a button is? Are you from the past?

Got me that nasty RSV that's going around. Feels like eels slithered into my ears and down the sides of my neck. Sounds like wet beach sand rolling around in my head. I did, however, have a bizarre dream about Fred Astaire, dancing outside the entrance of a mall, singing about overconsumption.
