When people ask how I’ve been feeling after the election… 🦖

I just left behind my pup at the vet for the first time, and there is a unique pain in my chest that must be reserved just for her. #dogmum

Loving how Bluesky feels a bit like a high school reunion… bumping into all the people you used to engage with on Twitter and seeing them pop up here on your feed and feeling like… “I remember you, and gawd it’s good to see you.”

After the election I felt so defeated, alone, and scared. But today I have so much hope! I’m so grateful for deleting Twitter and finding a home at Bluesky. The positivity here has been amazing. Thank you for welcoming me … and so many like me 💙💙💙

It just so happened that as I was waiting for a cab to the airport in #prishtina that I encountered the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani 🇽🇰

While I’m still so disappointed in the results of the U.S. election, it was just the spark I needed to be in the presence of another Madam President ⚡️💙
