There are absolutely companies abusing immigration policy in this country to the detriment of Americans.

I'll admit it's hard to stomach h1b visa immigration when I see tech companies that:

1. Have record profits
2. Laying off thousands
3. Hiring H1Bs

Also when I was in my twenties, my position was sold to HCLTech, where I was sent to India to train my replacements.

Great that it helped folks gain some financial stability, great that it showed positive results vs the control, and really sad that it and all others like it have ended with no plans to continue.

Jeffries and Schumer are working very hard to craft a message that won't alienate that demographic.

She may be trying to change her image, but her actions and attitude don't follow. She's gone from ultra-toxic to toxic-lite.

Nothing was her fault for instance, for her social media toxicity she constantly deflected and showed zero remorse. Leslie brought up that she had said Parkland school shooting was a false flag. What did MTG do? Deflect and not show any remorse.

Besides the bigoted transphobia she still spews, she was also very combative with Leslie.

While I agree there needs to be more kindness, forgiveness, and understanding in politics in general, I don't think MTG has grown or matured. Her actions after announcing she was resigning made it clear. In the 60 min interview, it was clear that she hadn't changed.

In many circles, the appearance of a project's success is unfortunately more important to many than the actual success of the project. This holds true in private industry and even within companies themselves.

Sadly, learning from failures is preached often but rarer in practice.
