Kazan was able to get a good for its time performance from Dean. However against today's standards it was not the best.

I think Giant played best to his acting style.

George Stevens got a good performance out of him in Giant. But East Of Eden would be even better without him and it is an amazing movie

Fucking David, his Dad is rolling over in his grave at this.

When David said "taking the company into the 21st century" is not what we all expected.

If he took up a career as a portable speed bump I would not be sad

Buy organic that's fantastic but know that 'organic' doesn't me never sprayed with chemicals. There is a list of Chemicals one can use and call their food organic.
December 3, 2025 at 6:28 PM
You want to smell stench, you should smell some of the OMRI approved 'organic' pesticides.

Pelargonic Acid or Scythe is just the tip of the iceberg. You ever smell Neem Oil in the heat? It will gag a person.

Smell has nothing to do with toxicity

There are traditional pesticides that smell 'good'

Call your state representatives tell them to not allow certification for use in your state.

Just because the EPA says it's OK doesn't mean your state can't ban its use

That's Ms. Rainbow Schnauzer Eggplant to you

Same same
December 3, 2025 at 12:38 AM
You are missing the point. For every one of you there is 10 people who eats their cake and wants it too.

We breed a culture and thus a world that can only fix itself through collapse.

It won't be American kids who starve. It is the rest of the world. And that is precisely why nobody cares
December 3, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Exactly. That's kinda my point. We spend alot of time pissing and blaming rather than fixing or enjoying.

It's down hill from here and enjoy the ride cause no solution is a good one

This shit is mind blowing

I know two ppl who gave theirs up for Malaysia. American Citizenship has lost its value.
December 2, 2025 at 11:06 PM
That requires much more of a moment of pause than humanity can muster in this day and age.

That shifts entire schools of thought
December 2, 2025 at 10:51 PM
The threshold I refer to is Carrying Capacity. I wanna say it was 98 when humanity crossed it. Now we live on through science and hubris.

But nobody will answer the question of who dies, or who starves.
December 2, 2025 at 10:47 PM
That's great, how are you going to reduce the population.

We crossed the threshold in the late 90s of population to Ag and once we hit the 2000s we had to push for larger yields requiring larger inputs.

So who's gonna die to reduce the population.
December 2, 2025 at 10:44 PM
Because we like the things we have and don't want to make sacrifices.

If you don't want any of that than this is what you get. Invasive species, irreversible ecosystem damage and the lot.

If you want to change it now you are going to have to choose who starves. That's not hyperbole that is fact
December 2, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Issue we would have. We could have turned to decentralized Ag, low throughput economy, and restrict land usage for things like golf courses. We could have also had people not care about the weeds in their yard or the mosquitoes in the back in the evening.

We didn't because we are to lazy...
December 2, 2025 at 10:31 PM
and how little you understand the issue. We are and have been dealing with these issues for a long time.

It is like an armchair epidemiologist during COVID trying to tell a real life epidemiologist how to do their job.

And don't give me a load about Big Ag. Because if we wanted to solve this...
