This is the first year in a while that I haven't gone home for CNY, and it just doesn't feel the same at all. I don't know a lot of the traditions, and it feels similar to when I passed the American holiday season alone too. A little lonely, grieving a bit. Like it isn't even happening.

I'd like to make a more refined watch-list for the upcoming year of movies with enough room to choose but not enough to be overwhelming.

To start, I'll try to catch a 35mm screening of Anora tomorrow.

Wild that the NBA still isn't on board, but I suppose it's someone's project to be like "okay I did an analysis of the audience on Bluesky and this is the % profit we could get from cross-posting here as well so let's make an account" and that takes time

I think I used the same tool you used to find the people I'd been following but since my account is so old, it spanned over a decade of interests some of which I am no longer invested in. It'll be interesting to find new people to follow.

It could be good! I think I have to adjust to this being a fully public account, my previous bird site account was private/protected for most of the time I've had it. I hope you're finding your people here!
