I literally thought I was the only one who did this! Discovered this trick years ago when my kid had to have everything labeled for daycare. Painters tape + sharpie also washes well if used for clothing labels. Doesn’t stay on forever, but for several washes. And no residue!

Applaws cat food? Hmmmm. Going to have to look into that…
