Professional Costume Friend & Desert Bus Crafter
Fun Home closed Sunday. This one was kind of a big deal. I’m gonna miss it.

I’m so damn proud of this production

Opening & first 5 show weekend down! Usually the loneliness hits really hard after Desert Bus ends, but I feel so good about my team, this production, and cast. Despite the brutal schedule I’m just feeling really grateful to have such a rewarding gig. Thanks, Fun Home

I didn’t have a craft for DB2025, but here are some of my Craft-Along prizes from past years! Once a Desert Bus Crafter, always a Desert Bus crafter.

I’m having the best time on Fun Home. My track is very busy as 3 actors play Alison Bechdel while her father Bruce played by only one actor. This is exactly the kind of challenge I love and this cast is wonderful. A very rewarding gig.

What do you MEAN Massachusetts has already decided against this as our new state flag? How dare you. Justice for podokesaurus holyokensis

Front Porch Arts Collective is damn important and this is so unsurprising and still so devastating. Over $6000 a month pulled from a group that connected black artists with theatre companies who wanted to do better. They’ve made much of the best theatre i’ve seen in the last few years possible

Triumph of Love was my FOURTEENTH show with Marianna and all I did was chase her around and help her in and out of a costume with 35 closures involved. It’s so rare to get to work with someone this much and I’m glad I got to run a “star dresser” track with someone so delightful.

Sometimes you just need to put on your headlamp and climb into someone’s dress to do 7 of the 35 total closures on her costume.

I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful the Huntington’s production of The Grove is. Playwright Mfoniso Udofia said she was worried it would never be produced because there are so many lines in Ibibio. It closes soon but you can stream it! “It was okay before. It will be okay again”

Remember the night when the garage door wouldn’t close and we couldn’t turn off the LEDs? (Seller used the garage as a tech bro gym)
