As a graduate student, i have written and responded to multiple discussion questions related to my degree field, substance use counseling. This requires, at a minimum, finding and reading through scholarly peer reviewed articles in order to form an intelligent response.

i will continue to send emails and letters and even call 🧐 i will support local business and engage in community. All of this is good and necessary to rebuild what the despots are slashing. But most of all, i am looking up to heaven and praying to the God of the heavens and all 🌏

The two greatest commandments are to love God and to love my neighbor. If my vote causes my neighbor to be afraid, to come into my office crying, that isn't love. i want no part in a fool's gold kingdom. Find me with the lowly and the meek. We'll share what we have and help each other up.

So what is everyone doing tomorrow night? Historically, the SB is the one game a year I watch because no one else here likes the game. With the state of our democracy at risk, it feels wanton and inane to just tune in. Is there something better happening tomorrow? Or do I get my knitting and veg?

Starting over from that other place. Having thoughts about how each beautiful snowflake is like a microaggression. One? No big deal. One after another on top of another and it is a smothering avalanche. Hope you get outside and breathe fresh air today.
