I'm wondering if life is a crazy quilt for these people--I mean, do they order all these samples simply to make "free" quilts with them, or to lower the overall costs of their quilts?

I was out in front of our NOAA campus today with approximately 1000 other people today protesting DOGE cuts; it was heartening. Hundreds of people protested at the Tesla dealership in the nearby town of Superior 2 days ago. Vermonters told Vance he wasn't welcome. Let's bring this energy to DC now!
