Today in local art-spotting: two plaster casts of George Grey Barnard’s neoclassical sculptures: The Hewer (1908) and Rising Woman (1916). Saved from Penn State’s “dump” in 1957 and now in the foyer of the American Philatelic Society (itself located in a restored 19th c match factory) in Bellefonte.
