I've have given some thought to this, after listening to your latest episode, and it occured to me (and I could be wrong), that egg - or sperm cells, only contain half of your genetic information. So they might not be adequate for the Hives purposes.

I think, the rules for what the hive-mind can consumse are insonsistant. They'll continue to milk the cows and so forth, but is that sustantially different from continuing to grow wheat? It's a completely cultivated crop what rely on human interaction for procreation. Also, how will the cows eat?
