My instructor's background is in kali and HEMA primarily; mostly they've trained me in kali. The sword is from Vulpes Training and is fantasy-inspired—it's single-edged, so a lot of bolo techniques apply, but we've also been dabbling in some messer stuff with it. It's been fun!
