I succeeded in getting yet another friend to try out the first book in @www.joditaylorbooks.com Chronicles of St Mary’s series. I like to share the joy of finding a great series to settle into.

My aunt, born in 1917, lived to 85, was a WAC in WW2 and then a nurse. Had polio as a child and lost a baby sister to unpasteurized milk. Lived through a century of marvels -planes, moon launch- and when I asked what she thought the greatest invention was she immediately replied “Salk vaccine”.

So I'm just starting to get into linocut printing again, which I have not done since I took A level Art in 1968. Can anybody suggest a good way of transferring a line drawing to a lino block? #art
