Went to the local thrift store/boutique today to drop off some donations and it was 50% off everything day inside. Came home with more than I dropped off. 4 new handbags, a sweater for daughter, a really nice Guy LaRoche coat for son and a shawl/scarf throw for me, all for under $50

When your kid has been really sick all week and this morning lost consciousness briefly a few times from a sinus migraine you offer to drive them to their coding exam and wait the few hours in a coffee shop

The past two weeks have been spent renovating the stairs in the house. From the old orange pine to new sleek black and white. Now on to getting rid of the old upstairs carpet and putting down new flooring

I woke up at 6:45 and repeatedly checked my watch until 7:00 when I got out of bed and went to check kid 1 was awake and getting ready to leave for uni. Only to find I’d read my watch wrong at least 3 times and it was only 5am.

Good morning, the weekend is getting closer, as is winter. Thick layer of frost/ice this morning, had to throw on a coat and go help my daughter break the seal on her car doors so she could get in!
