I think we may have just used sand and dirt, and the trays were the containers so that multiple kids could work on different "pits" at once. I'll get some extra details from the person who actually put it together and let you know

We actually did something similar for a kids activity at my museum using cheap basting trays, different kinds of sand/dirt, and some broken pottery and knicknacks. It was a big hit!

Build-a-boat game (using household bits like tin foil/straws/etc) to sail down the Nile! Include candy "bricks" that they have to take to build a pyramid, or let them design and color their sails

Actually not apparently, every DA game I've played has captured the feel of rogue combat in such an attractive and fun way that how could I *not* pick it?
