Writers-we all have the sense of humor of a fourteen year old.

If you’d like to join in the chaos and adolescent giggling feel free to do so here-

Why did I paint myself a full sized Hobbiton road sign? That should be fairly obvious. It’s because I didn’t own a full sized Hobbiton road sign.

Gonna put a post up at the intersection of a few paths on the property. Wouldn’t want kids to get lost at the crossroads.

Candied orange peel. Just finished boiling and now it needs to cool for a few hours before we break it up. We make it from zested orange so the pieces are small enough to put in cakes, cookies, and scones. Perfect for baking and yummy and delicious on its own.

I’ve got to add a joke like this to my next Not Quite Legendary tale.

It’s a clever explanation but my editor still wouldn’t buy it.

Going over a short story that inspired the novel I wrote with Kevin Pettway. The Maze of the Monarch series is going to be three books, and we just finished the rough of book 1. It’s going to be an amazing series.

Side note-I’m pretty sure I have a screw loose.

“At least Netflix paid me a good advance,” the writer said as he dried his tears with a crumpled hundred dollar bill.

An author can have dreams, can’t he?

Both of these are really good writing prompts. Just in case anyone feels an itch to write but doesn’t know where to start.

Behold the fabulous panda eating most excellent ramen socks! The image is also reproduced in smaller scale on the backs so as not to be obscured by inconvenient shoe placement. My friend Doug Montierth surprised me with them on Friday. Thanks Doug!

Zeus isn’t such a horn-dog in my books, but this is an accurate description.

A friend of mine drew a secret Santa that said the person liked art and OnePiece. My wife said I could probably help out.

Don’t worry man. I got your back.
