I see people have been talking about their favourite moments from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This is mine: 'This simple feeling is beyond V'Ger's comprehension.' It's a huge moment for Spock as an individual, truly reconciling his Vulcan and Human halves, and for his friendship with Kirk.

I haven't ever seen that movie, but I recognised the headband! Sun Wukong, the Monkey King! I read Journey to the West when I was a kid, and avidly watched the Japanese version, 'Monkey!' In the 70s. Great stuff and a nice drawing

Cat and human selfie! I love it when Sammy and B'Elanna both curl up on me. I'm pinned for a while, at their pleasure, but it's a small price to pay for feeling their fuzzy warmth nestling on my lap and chest. #caturday

The two TARDISES were scratch-built by my brother. The Lego set was bought for my friend Houndy in the photo; he passed before he was able to build it.

An obvious one here . . . Kirk's 'risk is our business' speech. It's some classic Shatner, as well as classic Kirk. Kirk wasn't just an explorer; he embraced the unknown with an eagerness and delight.

The cats have many sleeping places and beds, but this is their favourite. They take it in turns to use it, and this afternoon B'Elanna snuggled up inside it.
