And more confusing to me: nobody knows whether the USAF has these missiles, tests these missiles, deploys theses missiles on one of their two primary tac avation platforms?

Having defended my PhD, @breitenbauch and @MilstudiesCPH commissioned me to write a 100-page study on the future of European naval power and the #highend #challenge. Both the Corona-lockdown and new life back in Austria made this very challenging. https://cms.polsci.ku.dk/english/public (9)

Peter Swartz’ work, esp. U.S. naval documents co-edited with John Hattendorf, had served as a starting point for my ‘voyage’ into the study of sea power. I was happy to offer my thoughts on the changing strategic views along Europe’s northern shores in Peter’s Festschrift. (7)

Peter Swartz’ work, esp. U.S. naval documents co-edited with John Hattendorf, had served as a starting point for my ‘voyage’ into the study of sea power. I was happy to offer my thoughts on the changing strategic views along Europe’s northern shores in Peter’s Festschrift. (7)
As I studied smaller navies, often overlooked by laymen and naval aficionados alike, I contributed a chapter to this excellent volume edited by the congenial Ian Speller, Deborah Sanders and Robert McCabe: "Failure and success in doing more with less." (6)
