I think you misunderstood (or were trying to be cute, which is awkward) - I miss my retired AF father, who gave crisp salutes to me to the day he died. I miss Obama, of course, but not nearly as much as I miss my father.

I'm reading there's an update at 2:00 pm, and then again at 6. Hopefully, Jurinsky will fade into obscurity after this. Sadly, I could see her moving to a red district and becoming another Boebert.

My MAGA MIL just brought up the "taken over by gangs" rhetoric again, and it makes my blood boil. Kudos to my husband for level headedly responding, "Mom, that's not happening. It happened for a short time, in one place, a year ago, and they got it taken care of".
