I would love to have a real progressive in the WH. But we have to be real.
You can win the WH without PA, but you would have to win like three very red southern states to do it. Like you said, only Truman managed that.

Whoever the nominee is, they have to win this state, PA. We should be first in the nation for that very reason. Can't get to the WH without winning PA.
Beshear can win here. He would garner a lot of votes that wouldn't normally vote Democrat.

Beshear has been elected and reelected in ruby red Kentucky. Clinton, who was from Arkansas, brought southern states with him, as did Carter, who was from Georgia. We need to get Beshear out there more. He speaks well. Not flamboyant but to the point. Pick a progressive for VP, like AOC.

I am a progressive who fights for people's right to protest. Shapiro used the Office of the Governor to punch down on college kids protesting genocide in Gaza. He changed the university policy to benefit Israel at UPA. He chose Israel over the 1st Amendment rights of Americans, just like Trump.

There are plenty of articles on how Shapiro used his seat on the UPenn board to stifle protests on the Gaza genocide. He served in the IDF. He worked for the Israeli embassy. He behaved much like Trump. Probably why Harris didn't select him as VP.

I can't stand Shapiro. Wish a Democrat would primary him. I will not vote for anyone who supports aiding Israel and who attacks those here in PA who were protesting the genocide in Gaza.
Anyone can read talking points before a camera, well, almost everyone. But we have to look at the total package.
