🎮 Building a zero gravity, couch co-op space fighter
Spend time today figuring how to indicate to the player how many bombs they have left and the cool down on their gun. Decided to make the crosshair more dynamic to represent this

Stuck on the art for weeks. Settled on a high-contrast monochromatic look, inspired by Downwell.

Thinking of a mechanic where deaths and explosions "paint" the B&W world, making it more colorful as you play.

Lots of game feel tweaks lately — refining movement, speed, and adding sound + particles to make everything feel more alive.

Took awhile to understand how Godot handles its UI layouts

✅ Bullets and bombs can interact with each other which looks pretty neat! You can now pre-detonation your bomb by shooting it.

Removing the camera flipping effect when changing between surfaces because it felt too chaotic and confusing when the player changed surfaces many times, a static camera feels much better i think
