@jorisluyendijk.bsky.social, je zei dat er in de EU nu voor het eerst meer energie uit wind en zon kwam dan uit fossiel, maar dat klopt niet. Het gaat over *electriciteit*, en dat is maar een klein aandeel van ons energieverbruik. Autos, CV ketels, industrie etc draaien nog hoofdzakelijk op fossiel.

Tja, wat is het alternatief? Een minderheidskabinet zonder VVD dat leunt op gedoogsteun van een verbond van de kleine linkse partijen?
Lijkt me geweldig, maar dat is dan net zo goed "prijsschieten voor rechts".

Not really though. 1/3rd of the votes still went to hard right parties, same as last time.

It's not like Germany has had very stable coalitions lately... If anything, more parties might make things a bit more flexible.

Dan zeg je impliciet dat de bijdrage van kleine partijen zoals PvdD, SGP, Volt niet relevant is (geweest).
Zonder de huidige kleine partijen zouden de grotere partijen het net zo moeilijk hebben om een coalitie te vormen - zie ook de recente regeringen in Duitsland.

But will they really replace many private cars? People that commute daily by car or with families probably will want their own car still. I would probably be one of those that gets rid of his car, but I think that represents a minority of car owners.

I still prefer a city that revolves primarily around busses, trams, metros, and (e-)bikes. Because robotaxis will still take up a lot of the precious space in a city.

You might want to consider switching to other antibiotics, where possible. Kanamycin is very heat stable and doesn't get destroyed by autoclaving your waste.
