I’ve been a Dispatch member since nearly day one. Lately, I’ve struggled with the extent to which their pundits will discuss fraudulent tailoring, with someone explaining the potential virtues of indecent exposure, but then (God bless) Kevin Williamson who bluntly says THE EMPEROR IS EFFFING NAKED!

RIP to the East Wing. I understand that buildings come and go, but I’m curious about the level of oversight being done regarding this demolition and addition. Is this process coordinated through the National Park Service or Congress? He is renting the place, after all. It belongs to all of us.

So the House is home for another week. I'm old enough to remember when the GOP was concerned that able-bodied people were staying home and collecting money and healthcare from the government while not working.

This isn’t about partisanship; this is about patriotism and protecting our way of life. I’m not out here as a Democrat or Republican, but as an American who is concerned about the erosion of our system of government established by our founding fathers nearly 250 years ago.
