Honestly? Yeah. I used to really like the film, but tbh all the parts I like are the designs. The alien bugs, the mech, the guns. Heck, I bought a little figure of one! Weta Workshop does incredible work.
But yeah, the plot? Ehhhh, pass.

I've been in retail for years, and we use it all the time for random stuff. Especially for any building related here, though that is mostly because of all the inches etc used.
It's great for quick estimating though, when you need rough sizes (i.e. that rock's about the third of that one etc).
