When I started subsetting bird species by order + family, the overwhelmingly most exuberant group was Psittaciformes - parrots, macaws, cockatoos.

I love the print, but this one works so well on shirts and... placemats?

Sandwich doesn't like big birds but he does like little pretty ones. This is why he has this Hummingbirds print hanging in his doghouse.

Sandwich recommends this Psittaciformes fanny pack which features a 🪶for every parrot species, colored from Wikipedia descriptions.

It can also hold a lot of delicious dog treats.

These artworks act as a kind of avian fingerprint for a place. You can see seasonal changes and also the general character of bird diversity.

Prints from last year’s big bird+data+art project Every Bird are also 15% off.

If you gave 100 people some colored pencils and told them to draw the weirdest fucking bird they could imagine, not a one of them would draw a bird as weird as the Wilson's Bird-of-paradise.

This bird is a big reason I'm leading this trip. It's endemic to Raja Ampat.

The 12-wired Bird-of-paradise has a remarkable 3 hyphens in its name and yes, 12 wires where you might think its tail should be.

Go ahead, count 'em.

I will see this bird next week, forest gods willing.

The largest BOP is the Greater Bird-of-paradise, which does this very funny "hunchback" display.

I will not see this bird next week but hopefully I will at some point in my life.

LOOK AT THIS BIRD

The King Bird-of-paradise is the smallest BOP but it is big in drip

This time next week I hope to be watching one and squeeing

Is that 360 species of parrots on your pocket or are you just happy to see me?

All-over printed, for anyone who knows that both birds and fanny packs are VERY COOL.
