(Glasses getting stuck inside the headset or prescription vr lenses meaning I'm not wearing glasses underneath ends up working out similar for making it a pain to have to take the headset off to see the outside world)

I even managed to get prescription lenses for my quest 3 (Somehow got my vision insurance to pay for it 😝) and even lacking the hassle of the glasses themselves, being able to see while using VR is a Big Boon

But if the grayscale is high enough resolution (which, i can't imagine it being that low, the cameras aren't *that* much of the price of a headset) then it should be fine, really

A standalone headset does definitely benefit from having good passthrough for sure, if you're not tied to your PC you might not be as confident in your surroundings, if you like, swap between living room and bedroom and couch depending on what you wanna do, since you're able.

The quest 3's full color passthrough is Really Cool, but i can count the number of times i've used it in a way that reasonably high quality greyscale wouldn't suffice on one hand, if that?
