No the CR is only good till Jan 30. So if the Republicans haven’t kept their promise to vote on ACA Democrat, shut the government down and never trust with them again.

Maybe an idealist and not near savvy as you are about politics, but this deal is only good till January 30 so if the Republicans don’t allow a vote in December, they close the government again in January and this time they don’t trust the GOP

It’s a negotiation you can’t get everything Democrats secured protections for food aid, healthcare leverage &worker pay, reopening government largely on their terms, while Republicans gained limited fiscal language & a short-term continuation fight.
➡ Democrats won substance; Republicans saved face.

This is the best they could hope for Democrats secured protections for food aid, healthcare leverage, and worker pay, reopening government largely on their terms, while Republicans gained limited fiscal language and a short-term continuation fight.

Then take the Dems offer The Democrats’ offer is a good one! Extending ACA payments for a year protects millions of Americans from losing their health insurance and gives both parties time to negotiate a new bipartisan plan. No one loses — everyone wins.

There may be room for compromise but people must be able to keep their healthcare and snap must be safe. I work at food bank, I know how much people rely these They are scared and praying you will protect them
Don’t let them down!

If Trump can spend millions on golf, parties, and a new White House ballroom, and find billions for ICE, Argentina, and the Guard—he can find money to feed hungry Americans. SNAP isn’t waste; it’s survival. He shouldn’t need the Supreme Court to explain that.

How can we have a government when half of it won’t even show up?
Democrats offered a one-year extension of Affordable Care subsidies to help families facing rising premiums. Republicans said no—and the House isn’t even coming back next week. Disgraceful.

Schumer says Democrats will help end the GOP shutdown—for a 1-year extension of health-insurance tax credits. That’s it: help for Americans. Not Argentina, not Israel, not a ballroom. Just us. The ball’s in Trump’s court—he’s still appealing the SNAP ruling.

You obviously haven’t seen the line at the food pantry lately!

What kind of person, after a court orders them to fund SNAP so the old, sick & kids can eat, APPEALS just to keep food from the desperate? I’ve volunteered at a pantry—I’ve seen the need. This isn’t policy, it’s cruelty. Voters won’t forget in 2026.

I’ve never been as mad or disgusted as I am right now. Trump is appealing a judge’s ruling to fund SNAP — the lifeline for so many families I work with. Those families matter more than the gold-plated dinners he and his friends enjoy while parents pray their kids have food tomorrow.

Liquid? We’re talking about feeding children, seniors, and veterans — not bailing out billionaires. If America can afford tax cuts for the rich, it can afford to keep people from going hungry.
