I was a Typst skeptic until I sat down and used it for a mere half an hour. It's everything I want LaTeX to be and more. The incremental updates are incredible and instant. It feels modern and shiny. I can comprehend the error messages. Beautiful.

Throughout my life, it has always felt wrong to write, underline or highlight in books that I'm reading. I always wanted to preserve the feeling of a book being nice, new and untouched. I thought that maybe someone else would read from a book I had owned and they would like it to feel untouched.

I've noticed various fairly new channels (all made in the past couple of months) on YouTube that are pumping out AI generated self help videos, all circling around the work of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, but mostly on Carl Jung. They all use a very similar well spoken, British voice.

Pretty sure everyone on my flight from London City to Florence was either running in the marathon tomorrow, or supporting someone in it. It was a nice atmosphere.
