I unfortunately can't recommend this kit because it didn't match the listing picture, the fabric was stained in a spot, and the directions were terrible.

This is what I use! It's easier to work with and glows better than DMC

I suggest backing the page with fabric or stabilizer. It's not a forgiving material to work with.

I use Sulky adhesive tear-away stabilizer normally. For this one, I modpodged fabric to the back, but I think I prefer the stabilizer. It helps to make holes before you stitch, and it's harder to find the holes on the back using fabric.
