Six years ago, I wrote most of the Tragedian dialogue for Pathologic 2 in iambic pentameter. I'm back now doing the same for Pathologic 3. I figured it was helpful to write a guide on *how* I did it – in case I get hit by a bus and the team has to carry on without me.

I'd avoided his post-60s work until I started teaching the class on 80s games, likely due to my childhood terror of the "Rockit" video—but once I made the Apple II connection I went down the rabbit hole and now he's pretty much my favorite jazz keyboardist of the last 50 years.

look, i’m not saying it wouldn’t take a lot of work—but if someone at Eurogamer wants to start reading all of Bennett’s moral philosophy work now so that they can write their review in the form of an exhaustively cited academic response paper, it would be an incredible bit

Baby Steps, a 2025 PC/PS5 game by Bennett Foddy, Maxi Boch, and Gabe Kaplan

A walking sim isn't for everyone, and usually not for me, but Baby Steps still managed to catch my eye. The game cast players as onesie-wearing "fail son" Nate, a grown man who spends his days slobbing out on his parents' couch eating pizza and looking at the TV. That is, until he gets sucked away from this sedentary lifestyle and into a world without his trusty couch to support him. Now, Nate has to learn to make his way through this land full of mountains, obstacles, wildlife, muddy quagmires and more, one baby step at a time.
Oh, and it also includes a "fully dynamic onesie soilage system".
', so there is that. I'm undecided
on how I feel about this particular feature right now, though you can't deny it is different. -

yup, them and Fairport are key prog-folk pioneers…Incredible String Band too. I think it may be that prog-folk is basically gender-balanced, but the women stand out because prog-rock is so so boy
