I hit up Max’s now and then. It’s one of my favs in town. Dining here is really fun now… Lawrenceville has a ton of nice places now, Sharpsburg too. If you’re ever back def plan some dining out

I was born in 77 haha… I live a ways up the Allegheny from the city but I go into town often. Max’s Allegheny Tavern is one of my fav places to eat.

I’m always happy to come back here if I travel somewhere.

It’s been largely occupied by homeless folks for years… I’m surprised they’re doing something with it, but it was really rough…. Years ago they were gonna make it a retail and housing thing but that fell through prior to the pandemic.
